A NETWORKING group is being held for businesses around Basildon to help keep trade local and drum up Christmas business.
The Essex branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is running the event at Deli37, in Billericay High Street on Thursday, December 3.
David Barnes, chairman of the south Essex branch of the FSB, said over 30 Billericay-based companies were already involved in the networking group, ranging from florists to solicitors, and were keen to make new contacts.
The group is now looking for Wickford and Basildon based businesses to join.
He said: “The group is already a big success with business being done between its members and we hope that will grow.”
There is no charge for any company wishing to attend, and light refreshments will be supplied.
The meeting runs from 7.15am until 9.15am.
