A VETERINARY clinic has been shortlisted for a £27,000 community business prize.
The VRCC centre in Bramston Way, Laindon, could win the money as part of the Ixion Challenge 2009.
It was nominated for the prize after proposing to run special chemotherapy sesssions for animals with tumours at its surgery.
The firm now has six weeks to prepare a business case and bid for the prize, when it will be presented to judges.
