A MAN is in hospital after being stabbed in the leg in Pitsea.
The 25-year-old was getting into a taxi outside the Bull pub in London Road, Pitsea, on Friday around 10.30pm, when he was stabbed by a man.
After seeing his leg injury, the victim's taxi driver took him to Basildon Hospital where he had to undergo surgery and is currently staying in a stable condition.
His attacker is described as white, in his early 20s, with a slim build, short dark hair and was wearing a multi-coloured hoody.
Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call detectives at Pitsea police station on 0300 333 4444.
