THREE people had to be rescued from the windows of their homes after a blaze broke out in flats.
The fire is thought to have started in the communal stairwell of the flats in Crouch Street, Noak Bridge at 10.30pm on Tuesday evening.
Fire crews had to climb up ladders to rescue three people during the drama.
