Canopy delight – Angela Smith MP gets ready to cut the ribbon
TOTS from Centre Pre School in Basildon can now play outdoors in all weathers, thanks to their new canopy. Youngsters and staff from the school, based at the Lifelong Learning Centre in Ely Way, rolled out the red carpet to welcome Basildon MP Angela Smith, when she dropped in to unveil the new shelter. The canopy was bought after the school received £5,341 from the National Lottery’s Awards for All fund.
