Parents of unruly yobs at a notorious estate were today warned to bring them into line or face eviction.
Basildon Council has responded to complaints to the Echo from residents at the Royal Court estate, Laindon, with the pledge of a crackdown on problem antisocial behaviour.
Tony Ball, Tory cabinet member for housing and community safety, said parents of known troublemakers would be warned to curb their children's behaviour or face tough action.
Mr Ball also said tough action would be taken against any parents of troublesome children who owned their own homes.
