A MAN has admitted growing cannabis plants.
Paul King, 33, appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court to admit growing 30 plants.
King, of Christchurch Road, Tilbury, also admitted illegally abstracting electricity to power hydroponic equipment, including strong lighting, used to grow the cannabis plants.
The offences were discovered by police on January 30.
He was sent to Basildon Crown Court to be sentenced in June. In the meantime, unconditional bail was granted.
