A MUM was chased and bitten by two rottweilers.

Katie Kemp, 32, and her two-year-old son Freddy were about to take their four-month-old labrador puppy Ben for a walk in West Thurrock Memorial Ground when they spotted the two dogs and sensed danger.

Miss Kemp, who lives in West Thurrock, said: “It was absolutely terrifying. They went for the puppy first, then when I tried to stop them one of them they bit my leg.

“Thankfully they left the baby alone.”

The dogs’ owner appeared shortly after and managed to drag the dogs off.

Miss Kemp reported the incident to the police. She added: “The dogs bit me, it was so dangerous. Ben was left with three puncture wounds and had to be taken to the vets, and I’ve got puncture wounds and bruising on my leg.”

Essex Police spokesman Nishan Wijeratne said: “Officers contacted the owner of the two dogs, a 47-year-old woman from the town who was given words of advice.”
