Overhead wire problems are causing disruption to National Express East Anglia trains between Billericay and Rayleigh.
All rail services between Shenfield and Southend Victoria are being delayed by up to 45 minutes.
Buses are replacing trains between Wickford and Southminster and passengers are being accepted on c2c services.
National Express East Anglia expect the disruption to last until approximately 3pm.
