SHOPS are being urged to continue to check for identification to avoid selling restricted goods to underage youngsters.
In a recent crackdown in Laindon Trading Standards officers, using an underage youngster who attempted to buy goods such as booze and cigarettes, found just one shop did not ask for identification.
