TWO South Essex headteachers from Benfleet and Rayleigh will be going head to head after being nominated as East of England finalists for the prestigious headteacher of the year award.
Margaret Wilson, headteacher of the King John School, Shipwrights Drive in Benfleet and headteacher Jim Fuller of the Fitzwimarc School, Hockley Road in Rayleigh will join other teachers from across the East of England in the 2010 Teaching Awards.
The ceremony will take place at The Rhodes Arts Complex in Hertfordshire on June 24, which will be hosted by BBC presenter Susie Fowler-Watt.
