A man has died in hospital following a road crash in Southend.
The collision happened in Kenilworth Gardens, Leigh when a blue Ford Mondeo struck traffic lights outside Leigh fire station at 8.30am on Friday, May 14.
The 58-year-old driver from Rayleigh was airlifted to Romford’s Queens Hospital. Sadly, he died there on Wednesday, May 19.
The cause of death is natural causes. There will be no inquest
