A CAMPING gas cylinder exploded after a fence fire set rubbish alight in Leigh.
The butane cannister exploded as firefighters dealt with the fence fire in Princes Avenue at around 4.15pm today, Sunday.
Residents were advised to stay away from the area until the fire was out.
Crews had the situation dealt with by 5pm.
