A 14-YEAR-OLD girl was left with a broken jaw after she was brutally attacked in a park.
The youngster had been in St Laurence Park, Eastwood, when she was set upon by two girls.
She managed to make her way to her home in Wescliff, where an ambulance was called. It was later discovered she had suffered a fractured jaw.
The suspects are described as white and 15 to 16 years old. One was about 5ft 9ins tall, large build, with long brown hair tied back, wearing a dark grey hooded nike top, dark grey tracksuit bottoms and white and blue air max trainers.

Pc Sharon Polkinghorn, of Eastwood police, is particularly keen to speak to some boys who were at the park at 9pm on Saturday when the attack happened.
She said: “I would appeal for any witnesses to come forward, but would especially like to trace two boys who are believed to have intervened and stopped the assault allowing the victim to run away.”
