ROBBERS walked in a newsagents and threatened staff with a kitchen knife.
The two thugs went into the East Street Convenience Store, on the corner of East Street and Station Avenue in Southend, demanding the contents of the till from the shop assistant.
Stuffing a three-figure sum of cash into a bag they brought with them, the pair then fled.
Cops are appealing for information about the attack, which took place shortly before 7.30pm on Friday October 1.
