A MAN has been arrested following an attack outside a bar that left another man in hospital.
The assault happened outside the Edge bar on the tenth floor of the Great Oaks NCP car park in High Pavement, Basildon, around 3.40am on Saturday October 2 morning.
The 30-year-old man victim was with a woman, when another man approached him and began the attack, injuring the man's head. He was taken to Basildon Hospital for treatment and later released.
A 28-year-old man from Basildon was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and was now been released on police bail pending further enquiries until November 3.
