AN ARSON attack was carried out on a public toilet.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the fire started in a portable toilet in Colchester Road in Southend. It happened at about 5pm on Monday, October 4 and has caused so much damage it is now out of action. The toilet was sited on Colchester Road by the junction with Harcourt Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call Pc Ian Patterson on Southend police station on 0300 333 4444.
