TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of trying to steal metal from an industrial estate.
The police chopper hovered over Billericay at about 11.30pm yesterday in an effort to track down the suspects.
It is believed they were trying to steal from the Oaklands Industrial Estate, in Stock, Ingatestone.
Two men from Tilbury, aged 27 and 29, were arrested on suspicion of attempted theft and are currently in custody at Chelmsford police station.
Officers also seized two vehicles during the operation believed to have been used by the men.
