A FUEL thief is believed to have used cloned numberplates to carry out his crimes.
Police have issued CCTV footage of a man suspected of stealing from the BP petrol station at Cranfield Park, Wickford.
He is believed to be local to Wickford and have used numberplates cloned from the surrounding area.
Officers are investigating thefts dating back to July last year, which always occur between 5.30am and 7.30am.
The photographs show him in a dark blue or black Vauxhall Vectra 53 plates to 57 plates.
It has seven spoked alloy wheels.
