POLICE want to hear from any witnesses to help find the culprit who seriously assaulted a vulnerable man.
The victim in his 40’s who is often seen close to the shopping area in Derwent Parade, South Ockendon suffered a serious assault.
He is now seriously ill in hospital, and did not complain about the assault at the time.
The victim is six-feet tall with short receding hair and wears casual clothes, and only usually visits friends on foot, locally, though sometimes he travels to Grays.
Officers want to hear for anyone who might have information about the assault which happened between May 22 and June 5.
