A TEAM of “Little Angels” will be in Basildon’s Mothercare this week to offer guidance on breastfeeding.
The care workers will be attending the Mayflower Retail Park store until Friday, while tonight they will be holding a breastfeeding class at the store, between 6pm and 8pm.
Little Angels is an NHS- funded team that supports and promotes breastfeeding.
The campaign is part of Breastfeeding Awareness Week, which aims to encourage more mums to give breastfeeding a try.
Health experts believe breastfeeding helps to protect children from infections and diseases and strengthens the bond between mother and child.
