POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Swan Mead Park, Church Road, Basildon at 10pm on Saturday.
Two suspects knocked over a 22-year-old man by head butting him and punching the side of his head and ribs.
His Iphone was stolen and he suffered severe bruising and his friend, a 17-year-old boy also suffered bruisng and a black eye.
The two suspects are a black man, aged 16 to 20, with shaven hair, a black bandana, a black jacket and blue jeans.
The second suspect is a white man, aged 16 to 20 with blonde hair and wearing light coloured clothing.
