AN ACCIDENT on the London-bound A127 has left one lane blocked and long queues of rush hour traffic.
The incident happened between the Rayleigh Weir and Fairglen junctions at around 7.25am this morning after a Ford Mondeo and Volvo lorry collided.
Congestion tailed back to Kent Elms Corner as rush hour commuters became stuck in jams.
The road was cleared of debris by 9.15am with the lane fully reopened at the same time.
