POLICE have arrested someone after an attack at a towerblock which left a man with a bleed on the brain.
The 45-year-old man was found unconscious in a flat at Malvern, in Coleman Street, Southend, at about 7.40pm yesterday.
He had suffered a serious head injury.
Ambulance crews treated him at the scene before he was transfered to hospital where he is being treated for a bleed on the brain.
Police made initial house to house enquiries but anyone who has any information about this incident is asked to contact CID at Southend Police station on 101, or they can give information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
