TRAVELLERS have failed to comply with orders to leave Oak Lane in Crays Hill.
Basildon Council gave families, who moved to the legal site after the Dale Farm eviction last October are now breaching planning occupancy levels, until yesterday to leave.
A council spokesman said: “We will now be visiting the site over the next few days to assess which breaches are still in place.”
The planning contravention notices served last month cannot themselves lead to an eviction and further action will be needed.
The spokesman added: “It could be an injunction or enforcement action and this will have to be considered.”
The notices also asked for personal details of all the occupiers and it is understood not all of these were completed.
