TWO homes have been left uninhabitable following a house fire.
Firefighters were called to Coburg Place in South Woodham Ferrers at about 5.30pm this evening.
Crews from South Woodham Ferrers, Rayleigh Weir and Wickford attended.
When crews arrived at the mid-terrace house they reported the whole roof was alight.
They managed to extinguish the fire by 6:30pm.
The house, and the house next door, have been left uninhabtable due to the damage caused by the fire.
An investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the fire.
