An EastEnders icon has been rushed to the hospital after collapsing twice on the BBC show.
Elaine Peacock, who is currently played by Harriet Thorpe, has suffered a major health scare after a series of dramatic events revolving around The Vic.
Everything comes to a head when Linda drops the bombshell to her mum Elaine, that she wants out of running the pub.

The shocking decision sparks a clash between the EastEnders pair, seeing Linda storm off to confide in George.
After spotting this, Elaine becomes convinced the two are plotting against her.
Later, her stress levels are made worse when a failed bank meeting leaves her future plans in the gutter.
The pressure only continues to mount when son Johnny refuses to be a silent partner.
Elaine eventually snaps and kicks everybody out of the pub before clashing with her daughter on the BBC show once again.
In a shocking twist, she suddenly collapses in front of a horrified Linda, according to The Sun.
Linda is then left feeling guilty and tells Johnny that she is thinking of staying put for her mother's sake.
However, things continue to get worse when they return to the room to find that Elaine has collapsed for a second time, forcing her to be taken to the hospital.

Who is Elaine Peacock and what actors have played her on EastEnders?
Elaine Peacock (now known as Elaine Knight) was first introduced to the show all the way back in 2014, according to the EastEnders Fan Wiki.
She is the mother of Linda Carter and the estranged wife of George Knight.
The character was originally played by Maria Friedman from 2014 until 2017 before the role was taken over by Harriet Thorpe in 2023.
