BBC’s Celebrity Traitors is back on our screens, and the first contestants to be murdered and banished have been revealed.
The hit series sees Faithfuls attempt to uncover a secret group of Traitors in a bid to secure the cash prize for themselves.
However, unlike the civilian version, the celebrity contestants are playing to win money for their chosen charities.
In the first episode, Richard E. Grant and Maya Jama were selected by Claudia Winkleman as traitors.
In a twist to the usual format, Claudia told the Traitors they would recruit a third player by choosing two potential players to join them.
One of them would become a traitor, and the other one would be murdered.
Back at the turret, Maya and Richard chose Amol Rajan and James Acaster as potential traitors.
Who got murdered on Celebrity Traitors?
Amol Rajan ended up being the first celebrity to be banished from Celebrity Traitors series two, as Richard and Maya selected James to be the third traitor.
