A man fell from a railway bridge onto the tracks below, emergency services have confirmed.
The man was rushed to Southend hospital last night, with several foot injuries, after falling to the tracks at the bridge on White Hart Lane Hockley.
The incident, at around 10.20pm, saw a heavy presence of police cars, ambulance vehicles and fire engines at the scene.
An air ambulance also landed nearby.

The British Transport Police say a man suffered injuries to his foot.
A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "We were called at 10.20pm on 6 July after a man had fallen from a bridge in Hockley.
"He was taken to hospital with multiple injuries."
A spokesman from the East of England ambulance service, added: "East of England Ambulance Service and an air ambulance attended a patient who had fallen from a bridge off White Hart Lane in Hockley last night, Monday July 6, shortly before 10.30pm.
"The patient was transported by land to Southend University Hospitals.”
