After more than a decade of the Labour party crying “bigot” at anyone who dared to question its policy of mass migration, they have now turned tail and admitted it is “not bigoted”

to want stricter border controls after all.

Ed Miliband now admits the last government got it wrong by giving Eastern Europeans access to this country’s labour market.

Labour’s prediction that only 13,000 Poles would arrive here was grossly underestimated and has culminated in so many of this country’s youngsters being unemployed.

The hospitals, housing and other services, that migrants have not fully contributed towards in the past, suffer as they cannot cope with the additional strain imposed upon them.

As a parent who made a responsible decision to bring children into the world, that decision was based upon my abilities to provide for those children.

However, what I was not able to predict was an irresponsible laissez faire attitude to migration which deprives those children of employment opportunities, and whose parents have for years paid taxes, both direct and indirect, to help sustain this country's essential services.
