A MAN found with a set of nunchucks in a public place has been fined £200.
Vladimir Kaganov, 33, of no fixed address, had the martial arts weapon with him in Christchurch Road, Southend, on January 8.
He admitted possession of an offensive weapon and failing to surrender to bail on January 25 when he appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court.
Kaganov was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
