A man has been taken to hospital after being clipped by the wing mirror of a bus.
The accident happened in Rayleigh Road just outside the fire station near Rayleigh Weir at 1.30 this afternoon.
The ambulance service sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew to the scene.

The pedestrian, believed to be in his 60s, was treated for chest injuries before being taken to Southend Hospital for further assessment.
Traffic was delayed in the area while emergency services dealt with the scene and remained slow for some time after.
