Reports have surfaced that a boy has been stabbed in Southend this morning.
Witnesses have claimed that Woodgrange Drive in Southend has been cordoned off since earlier today and that there was "blood everywhere".
Police and ambulance have been contacted for comment.
This comes as Essex Police have launched their anti-knife crime campaign this week encouraging people to surrender their knives in the appropriate bins situated around the county.
This week, the Echo has reported on seven stabbings, five of which have been in Southend.
