Everyone loves the story and the music of Howard Blake’s “Snowman” at Christmas, and for the first year this year the Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs will be presenting the full version accompanied by orchestra as part of a Christmas concert.
On Sunday 10th December, 4pm, at the Kings Road UR Church (formerly Crowstone UR Church) in Kings Road, the choirs will be performing the famous “Walking in the Air” song within the Snowman story as part of their Christmas Concert.
This concert comes just before the choirs’ performance at London’s Royal Festival Hall and St Martin in the Fields, as part of their busy Christmas schedule. In addition to the “Snowman”, the choirs will be performing well known, popular and traditional Christmas carols, accompanied by orchestra, as well as audience carols for all to enjoy. Don’t miss this chance to hear some Christmas medleys, rousing Christmas songs and favourite carols.
