A man was arrested and the suspected haul of cannabis was seized after officers from the South Operation Raptor Team executed a warrant.
Acting on intelligence the team executed a warrant at the home in Baxter Avenue, Southend on Wednesday March 21.
Inside they seized a haul of what is believed to be 35 plants of the Class B drug cannabis.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing a Class B drug.
The man was interviewed and released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
Essex Police set up Operation Raptor teams in the South, North and West of the county to tackle those involved in drug and gang-related crime.
