YESTERDAY saw the opening of the third NetPark Wellbeing Art Exhibition at the Beecroft Gallery.
The show displays a range of digital art work and prints, made by volunteers and participants who have taken part in the NetPark Wellbeing project - run by Metal arts organisation - over the last year.
The work was made by people living with a variety of mental health conditions whilst attending the NetPark Wellbeing art groups, from orgnaisations such as Trustlinks, Open arts, Project 49 and Peaceful Place.
Emma Mills, the mental wellbeing co-ordinator for outdoor spaces and media arts, based at Metal, said: "We have also run a group in partnership with Basildon Changing Pathways (formerly Basildon Women’s Aid ) with a group of women who have experienced stalking form abusive ex partners.
"We have made some posters which are on display to acknowledge that this is National Stalking Awareness week - it started on April16 - April 20."
The show runs until Sunday July 15 at the venue in Victoria Avenue.
Admission is free.
