A COUNTRY show is expected to have raised more than £100,000 for Little Havens Hospice.
Purleigh Country Show celebrated its 15th year of supporting the hospice in Daws Heath Road, Benfleet, earlier this month.
Although funds are still being counted it is expected to reach the £100,000 mark this year.
Crowds were treated to vintage cars, steam vehicles and farming demonstrations as well as Dangerous Steve.
Tony Turner, who organises the annual event with Linda Simmons, said: “We are extremely proud to have raised this money over the past 15 years.
“We had a brilliant show.
“We thank all the teams who helped us make this year’s event so special.”
Carmel Hudson, community fundraising manager for Little Havens Hospice, added: “On behalf of everyone at Little Havens, I want to say a huge thank you to the A & L Fundraisers Club, the organisers, for supporting us at the Purleigh Country Show over the past 15 years and raising such an amazing amount of money for us.”
