A Basildon primary school's field was on fire.

A witness has confirmed the fire was put out at about 7pm.
Fairhouse Primary School posted on Facebook: "You will have heard rumours about a fire at Fairhouse! The storage container on the field has been broken into and a fire started.
"Thank you to the fire brigade for prompt attendance and dealing with the matter and to parents for alerting them.
"No damage to either of the builds and school and Pre School will resume as usual tomorrow."
A fire spokesman confirmed the blaze was started delibrately.
A statement said: "Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in the grounds of a school this evening.
"On arrival, crews advised that a storage container positioned at the rear of the main school building was alight.
"Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire completely by 6.49pm.
"We believe this fire was caused deliberately."
