OFFICERS were called to a primary school in Shoeburyness after a knife was found in one of its playing fields.
Two officers, PCSO Adams and PCSO Dean, were on patrol yesterday checking on beach huts when they got the call.
“In a social media post, the team wrote: “[We] popped over to a primary school which had found a knife on its playing field.
“Clearly someone needs to be spoken to about where and how to dispose of knives safely.”
The post added: “Lobbing over the fence into a school playing field isn’t one of them.”
