A MAN who has gone missing from Jaywick could be in Basildon.
Essex Police are continuing to appeal for information to find Tony Morris, 56, who has been missing from his home in Jaywick. He has not been seen since May 6.
A police spokesman said: "We believe Tony purchased camping equipment in Go Outdoors in Pitsea on Saturday, May 18, and also used his bank cards in Aldi in Pitsea and at Pitsea Train Station on Tuesday May 30.
"Our focus remains within the Basildon area and we believe Tony could be rough sleeping.
"Tony is a keen walker, sometimes walking 20 miles a day, and previously had access to a silver Renault Kangoo with the registration plate AC08 BDU.
"If you’ve seen him or have any information about where he is please call Clacton police station on 101 quoting incident 1142 of 7 June."
