TRAINS in south Essex were suspended after trespassers were found on the tracks.
Greater Anglia suspended trains between Southend Victoria and Rayleigh as someone was on the railway tracks.
Emergency services were at the scene trying to ensure the person is safely removed.
The trespassers were removed from the tracks shortly after 7pm, but the company has advised there may be some delays to services.
A spokesman for Greater Anglia said: "Following trespassers on the railway between Southend Victoria and Rayleigh all lines have now reopened.
"Train services running to and from these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.
"Disruption is expected until 08.30am."
