POLICE were forced to play a game of hide and seek with a man who tried to hide from officers inside a Southend home.
Officers stormed a house in the town last night, and uncovered hundreds of lighter gas canisters scattered across the living room.
A man was arrested, on suspicion of assault, following the issuing of a warrant.

A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "We attended an address in Southend last night.
" A male tried to hide but it didn’t work.
