CAROUSEL Gymnastics Club’s Gracie Regan is celebrating after being crowned national champion in Birmingham.
The 10-year-old excelled on the vault, the beam, the floor and the bars to work her way on to the top of the podium.
But that was not her only success as Gracie also helped the East of England side win the team award.
Gracie regular trains at the Wickford venue and the club’s manager Debbie Morgan was thrilled by her success.
“We’re all delighted by what Gracie has achieved and we’re very proud of her too,” said Morgan.
“She has worked very hard and I’m particularly pleased because she is coached by one of our younger coaches, Chloe Morton, who is only 23.
“This is the first time one of her gymnasts has won a national title and hopefully it will be the first of many.”
