Sutton United 1-1 Concord Rangers
From the Borough Sports Ground
Conference South
CONCORD made it three games without defeat at Sutton but may feel aggrieved they didn’t take all the points.
This was the Beachboys first game of the post-Nicky Cowley era, after the midfielder hung up his boots to become the club’s assistant manager and Danny Cowley’s team started the game on top but couldn’t find a way past Alan Julian in the home goal.
The first goal came midway through the second half and it was Jordan Chiedozie that netted, side-stepping a defender before firing high into the net.
Concord were given another boost when ex-Chelmsford City man Glen Southam was sent off for two yellow cards just after the hour mark.
But it was the home side that equalised 60 seconds after the red card. Jessy Reindorf finding the net and despite late COncord pressure, that was the way it stayed until the final whistle.
Concord Rangers: Butler, Woodyard, King, Lampe, Glozier, Ogilvie, Gardner, White, Collins, Chiedozie, Cawley
