FA TROPHY: Concord Rangers host Boreham Wood in the FA Trophy as they aim to get over the disappointment of their FA Cup exit.
The Beachboys went down 1-0 to League Two Mansfield Town on Tuesday evening but their interest in the cup competitions is far from over.
Before an Essex Senior Cup tie against Grays Athletic next week, Danny Cowley’s side host Conference South leaders Boreham Wood in the Trophy.
The match is a repeat of the league clash a fortnight ago, which finished 1-1.
In 2005/06 the Wood reached the semi-finals of the competition, while the Beachboys will be looking to match their best performance, that of last season in which they made the first round.
The winner of the tie will scoop £4,000 and the Beachboys will be hoping to receive similar support from the wider community, with Canvey Island not in action this weekend.
