SEEVIC Storm basketball team have played their first ever match at the Olympic Copper Box, albeit coming out on the losing side.
Storm took on Hackney Community College at the home of London Lions.
The match was arranged by Hackney Community College, who secured the curtain-raiser through their new partnership with the Lions.
And Seevic Storm were eager to take up the challenge.
Part of the Elite Academy Basketball League, schools and colleges played against each another as part of the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence programme.
And Seevic were not able to secure a win, with HCC taking a decisive victory, 128-59.
