John Wayne Hibbert - will get the chance to avenge his controversial defeat to Dave Ryan when they fight for the Commonwealth title
HORNDON-ON-THE-HILL'S WBC International light welterweight champion John Wayne Hibbert will get the chance to avenge his controversial defeat to Dave Ryan when they fight for the Commonwealth title on May 30.
Hibbert lost to Ryan on a points decision he still disputes in 2013 and has wanted a chance to put that right ever since.
Now a deal has been struck for the pair to square off on a massive night of boxing at the O2 Arena.
The bout will take place on the same card as world title fights for Kevin Mitchell and Lee Selby, while heavyweight superstar Anthony Joshua will also be on the bill.
