PAUL Robinson Solicitors are the new sponsors of Southend & EMT Cricket Club.
The company, who are based in both Westcliff and Billericay, also sponsor Southend Saxons Rugby Club.
And the latest deal was confirmed at Saxons’ home game with Canterbury on Saturday.
Derek Pitt, Paul Robinson Solicitors’ IT development manager said: “This is the latest of the town’s clubs to be sponsored by Paul Robinson as they continue to support sports clubs and the community generally in and around both the Southend and Billericay areas.”
The sponsorship deal will enable the cricket club to improve their facilities and their chairman Chris Hunt was quick to express his delight.
“It’s an exciting time for all involved,” said Hunt.
“This opportunity will allow us to improve the club’s facilities for its members, along with investing in our youth section.
“Paul Robinson’s Solicitors’ enthusiasm is clear and is proven with their already successful partnership with Southend Rugby Club.”
>Southend & EMT are on the look for new members of all ages and standards.
They run six Saturday teams, two Sunday teams, one midweek team, along with two teams at under 11s, 13s and 15s. If interested in joining, visit www.sosemtcc.org.uk.
