BILLERICAY Town go into Ryman Premier play-off action in Kent tomorrow with a "let's finish the job" battle cry from manager Matt Jones.

Town's starts are still basking in the glory of havintg pulled off a shock 5-3 penalty shootout success at Chelmsford City on Monday afeter the scores finished level at 1-1 following extra time.

But that will count for little if they are unable to overcome a Bromley side that finished second in the final table behind champions Hamton & Richmond Borough.

They earned their final spot with a 1-0 win at home to AFC Wimbeldon on Tuesday.

And Jones warned: "They'll be a very tough nut to crack.

"We've had two very tight games with them - 0-0 draw at our place and a 1-0 defeat a couple of weeks ago down there.

"But we're certainly not going there with any thoughts of defeat. And why should we?

"Few people gave us a chance at Chelmsford, particularly when we had striker Rikki Burbridge sent off two minutes into the second half.

"We not only had to hold out, but also had to take the game to Chelmsford when they went ahead eight minutes from the end.

"We grabbed an equaliser in injury time and then had to fight for an extra half-hour.

"The players were magnificent that night. We had a lot of tired legs afterwards, but you can bet that we'll be fully recovered and ready for the job tomorrow."
