SOUTHEND United have received a further 556 tickets for their Boxing Day clash at Colchester United.
The Shrimpers have sold out their initial allocation of 1,700 seats for the eagerly anticipated Essex derby at the Community Stadium.
But they have now received a second batch of tickets, much to the delight of Blues’ chief executive Steve Kavanagh.
“We want as many Southend fans as possible to be able to see the game on Boxing Day,” said Kavanagh.
“Colchester were under no obligations to give us any more so we’re thankful we’ve been able to come to this arrangement.”
The 556 tickets will be on sale from 11am on Wednesday morning for season card holders, shareholders and Blues Lottery members.
